Adirondack Shelters - Scout Groups only with permit from park office.

Archery Range - Scheduled use only through Hamden Bowmen.
Barn – Used for Maintenance & Storage and educational programs from time to time.

Biking - On the Farmington Canal Trail ONLY.  Biking is not allowed on any trails in Brooksvale Park.

Birding - The park is a popular birding spot.
Cabin – For Scout Camping Only.

Campfires - Scout Groups only with permit from park office.

Domestic Animal Barnyard - PLEASE, do not feed the animals!
Hiking Trails –  7 ½ miles of trails.  Map  HERE

Maple Sugar Shack -  Open mid-February to mid-March.

Office - Park office is located in the lower level of the Veterans' Memorial Building. Enter on lower level through back door.

Orchard & Organic Garden - In process near horse, sheep, goat pens.
Picnic Pavilion (20’ x 40’) - Picnic Tables (10) Charcoal grills (3) - Available for rent April 15 - September 30 only.  Contact park office.
Pond - For Ice Skating & Nature Study. Call in winter for ice status. Restrooms in Veterans Memorial Building only open when staff is present.
Restroom Facilities - Seasonal on upper hill near ball fields.  Restrooms in Veterans Memorial Building are open when staff is present.
Sledding - 2 areas - 1 steep, past pond, 1 gentle, near softball field.

Softball Fields (2) - For recreational use only. Groups only with permit from park office.

Playground & Swings - Geared to toddlers, near barn.
Veterans Memorial Building - For nature education, meetings, summer camp. Available for rent Mid-August through Mid-June. Contact park office.

Walk, Bike or Hike along the Farmington Canal Trail.

Wildlife Garden - A sampling of native trees, shrubs and plants, near playground.
