THIS Saturday, September 25 from 11-4. If it rains, it will be held on Sunday.
There was no festival last year due to Covid. This year it will be different, maybe back to it’s roots and original focus perhaps? Explore nature, appreciate a beautiful town park that’s over 600 acres now! Learn a bit about the plants, animals and surroundings right in your own backyard, so to speak.
Please be patient, have a positive outlook, try not to compare to year’s past where thousands of people attended. Everyone is being a bit cautious. It’s understandable, no one wants to get sick or have to go into lock down again.
So, please, come to the park and enjoy the outdoors. Visit the animals in the Friends of Brooksvale Animal Barn. Stroll through the garden and learn all about the transformation from season to season (and more organic than in years past) and ask how many pounds of produce were donated to those in need this year.
A Place Called Hope will be there for Birds of Prey demos all day long. HPD K-9 Unit too! Visit the pumpkin patch, listen to live music, grab a bite to eat from one of the food vendors…or all of them. Kelly’s Ice Cream is my fav!
There will be craft vendors, environmental exhibitors and community organizations. Support local groups and businesses, they’ve all had a tough year.
See you at the park!
OH! Stop by the Friends of Brooksvale Bake Sale Booth and say Hi!
